Moved to Kadena AFB Okinawa, Japan in 1972 –1975

Moved to Davis Monthan AFB Tucson, AZ in 1975

Graduated from Santa Rita High School in 1979 ranking 62/491 in my graduating class. Math was always my favorite class each year.

Secretary of the German Club my Sophomore year thru my Senior year and really never learned the language but had a great time to include a German foreign exchange student who lived with us for several weeks.

Was a member of the National Honor Society my Junior and Senior year.

Attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Az 1979-1981 majoring in Civil Engineering and transferred to Business and Accounting courses.

Married in 1981 and moved to Fort Carson, Colorado where I attended Pike’s Peak Community College furthering my Business and Accounting courses

Moved to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe –SHAPE, Belgium in 1983.

In 1984 gave birth to a healthy 9 lb 10 oz baby girl named Stacey Marie

While in Europe we toured Austria, France, Holland, Switzerland and Germany to include visiting my high school foreign exchange student and meeting her family.

In 1985 my daughter and I left Belgium and returned to Tucson and I divorced in 1986.

Started working full time in 1987 at O’Rielly Chevrolet and met my Soul mate, Chris and we were married in 1991. 

Graduated from Pima Community College with an Associates of General Studies Degree in 1994 after 15 years of taking courses when I could.

We welcomed our Son-In-Law, Justin in April 2005 when he and Stacey married.

I further continued my education in 2006 when I became a Certified Professional Coder with the American Academy of Professional Medical Coders. This enhanced my 20-year career in the medical field, which I pursued once I left O’Rielly Chevrolet in 1988.

We entered the next level of life in May 2008 by welcoming our granddaughter, Mackenzie into our lives.

Chris and I plan on expanding our traveling in the future. We have been to England, Oahu, Maui and Cabo San Lucas and hope to take a Cruise at some point.

 Besides traveling I enjoy antique shopping, country decor, decorating, running, and staying in touch with all my family.

Pictured below is Penelope age 13.  I got her through an animal rescue group when she was 7-months of age.  It took many months to be able to even touch her or pet her.  Gradually I gained her trust with food on a spoon.  It was quite a challenge but we both won.

The next three photos are of Buddy, a 2 year old male, who was brought to our door by two little boys when he was only 5 weeks of age.  They were begging us to take him because they weren't allowed to return home with him.  When I held him he clung to me and purred.  That was all she wrote.  He has been running this house ever since. 

We no longer put decorations on our Christmas tree either.

And yes it does snow in Tucson, Arizona on rare occasions
